After dusk the lights are switched on and you can discover another face of the city. A good complement to a nice dinner or cultural programme.

The tour is a shortened version of the Classical Tour. However the known buildings and sites will show their other sides too, and some places will really come to life only at night. Many opportunities for long exposure photos:-).

We can adjust the starting time and means of transport (public transport+walking / car+walking) according to your preferences and the season/weather conditions.

Starting point: city centre or your hotel

The tour includes the following locations:

Andrássy Avenue, our most beatiful boulevard, recognised as a World Heritage Site

Opera House, a great architectural piece of art and one of our most important musical centres

Theatre District – a small area including some exquisite theatres and many charming cafés and good restaurants.

Heroes’ Square
– Budapest’s most symbolic square, presenting thousand years of Hungarian history

Vajdahunyad Castle – a beautiful castle in a fairy tale-like atmosphere; a really special place at night:-)

Stop for a coffee or drink in a nice café or bar

Jewish District – We take a short walk in one of the most flourishing areas of Budapest and one of the centres of the city’s night life.

Hungarian Parliament – The illuminated largest building of the country is really impressive at night.

Chain Bridge – Our oldest permanent bridge is just a short walk from the Parliament Building. The bridge with the lights on is one of the most beautiful symbols of the city.

We cross the Danube and continue the tour in the hilly Buda side.

Castle District – Walking or driving upwards from the Chain Bridge we reach the historical quarter. We will get inspired by the narrow streets and old houses that have an even more special atmosphere at night. Our walk includes among others the Matthias Church, the Fishermen’s Bastion and the courtyards of the Royal Castle. From here we will also have an amazing view of the river, the bridges and of the Pest side.

Citadella and Statue of Liberty* – We finish the tour at another symbol of the Budapest: the Statue of Liberty. From here you can enjoy one of the most amazing views of the city.
